Trick or Treat – TOBH Challenge

Can you believe it’s June already? This card is for the Two Old Bats Halloween Blog Challenge. I gave the inspiration board a bit of a try this time around. You do not have to follow the inspiration board, it’s just a little push to get your creative thoughts flowing. For this challenge, you just create a project with a Halloween theme, that’s it! Easy Peasy!

I used The Rabit Hole Designs – Mesh Optical Illusion for the background. I think it adds so much texture and interest. Look closely at this stencil, the openings are not symmetrical, they are wonky and I love it! It kind of reminds me of a pair of mesh panty hoses, LOL!!! The images are a printed transparency that is super old (like 18 yrs old). I colored the jack-o-lantern with alcohol markers on the wrong side of the transparency. Be patient, the markers take long to dry. Die cut is by CC. Designs and I got it from Artful Angel Store, it’s called: CC Designs Circle Die.

A RAK in use and some Halloween cuteness!

It’s the middle of the month, which means a little reminder about the “Two Old Bats Halloween” Challenge! Halloween it’s getting closer! YAY! So get your cards ready. The challenge is an open challenge with a Halloween theme. The gals always have a cool inspiration board, let me share that with you.

As you can see I got a bit of inspiration with the pumpkins but instead of little kids dressed as ghosts I got a cute mummy! The image was a RAK I received from my friend Kellie. THANK YOU GURL!
