Some New and some not so new projects

This SnS ribbon kit is very down to Earth just like Ann!  I tried using it as main element and as just little add ons and it is one wonderful kit for both of those uses.

On this first sample, the ribbon is playing major roll on the page.  It is all about twisting and intertwining them, just like love!

Materials: Ribbon by; paper by Sweetwater; MM eyelets; Mustard Moon alpha stickers; Indie Art Cricut Cartridge

This page needed a frame, something that in a subtle way will bring your eye to the photos and ground all the elements together and what better use than RIBBON!

Materials: Ribbon by; Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge; Everything Else is the June kit at

This card is all about the image, but it needed a little something to transition to the sentiment.  And some ribbon enhanced w/ some cute little sequin flowers was just what it needed.

Materials: Ribbon by; paper from May kit; stamp Fiskars; Sequins Doodlebug Designs

One more for the night…

A touchy feely card…

I was able to complete the 365 Challenge #64 (Sunday’s Sketch), A spoon full of sugar #50 (touchy feely) and  another one for CCC (everyone emboss).  It was a fun one, even though I thought I was not going to like the end result, I actually LUV’ IT!  It is a card that I wouldn’t have tried if it wasn’t for the sketch, so THANKS!  I am showing you one more close-up of the card and then you can enjoy the card.  I really like how the ribbon turned out.  There are two pieces of thin ribbon to be able to make the ruffled frame around the metal embellishment.

Pattern Paper : DCWV; American Crafts

Diecuts/Embossers : Sizzix Embossing plate from
Embellishment : Making Memories metal saying
