BIG THANKS Balloons – Artful Angel

I stamped the BIG THANKS sentiment with not really a plan of what I was going to do with it! Then I received an order from Artful Angel and I had 2 sets with Balloons. The TGF set is called “Hello Bestie” and Gerda’s set is called “You lift me up!” You can get all these products from Artful Angel, remember to use my code: DALISACE and you can get 10% OFF your order!

I used a Spellbinders foiling plate, and this is the negative, I know it didn’t transfer completely but I love the imperfection of it! My bling is silver and gold, but for some reason it looks darker in the pictures.

TRHD July Release – Day #3

Brand new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs coming to you! I wanted to showcase one of the amazing patterns and the color of the new Retro Christmas 6×6 paper pack. This pattern has both mistletoes, pine branches, and holly as part of the design. I am back to the 1 Line Reindeer! This is card #2 using the reindeer and you still got to see 4 more cute cards using this stamp set. I recommend you grab this or one of the other one-line samps, they make fast, easy adorable cards!
For this card, I prepped my cardstock to be heat embossed with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool from TRHD and heat embossed in white. I made a mask for just the face and antlers of the reindeer and colored the background with a TRHD blender brush and green dye ink pad. The nose was watercolored and added a highlight with a white gel pen. The ornament die-cut was cut out of golden mirrored cardstock.

TRHD July Release – Day #2

Brand new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs coming to you! Clarence is back to his fun and games! He is ready for Christmas, are you? July is the perfect month to start working on your cards. Plenty of time to get creative and not be in a hurry!
For this card, I freehand the train tracks and put them against this diagonal pattern paper design from the new Retro Christmas 6×6 pad. Created some clouds for the background, and got to work on Clarence. Clarence was watercolored following the colors from the pattern paper, to make the card more cohesive. He was fun to color and this little guy has over 8 layers of watercolor to create the texture of his fur and clothes. As a finishing touch, I prepped my cardstock to be heat embossed with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool from TRHD and heat embossed in black.

This 4×6 set has 3 adorable Clarence images having some Holiday fun and of course, some even more adorable sentiments to go with them. Check it out!

Artful Angel Blog Hop! – May Release

Have you seen the May Release!! Savannah is having the time of her life at Summer Camp in the two amazing sister sets, S’more Wishes & Roam Far. I used the ROAM FAR set, which has Savannah on her tube and also hiking the trails! I masked Savannah’s hair bow and the rock and worm to give it a different look. Somehow, it immediately took a more masculine look. For the sentiment I cut it into a two line stamp. It is easy enough to put back together to the original look, but this gave me a bigger place to cover. You can’t tell from the picture, but this is an interactive card, the little sign signs back and forth!

I kept the coloring to my favorite, watercolors. There are a good 5-8 layers of watercolors on this little sloth. I made sure I waited for it to dry before adding the texture to his hair (I am calling this Toby, Savannah’s friend, LOL!!!)

It’s DAY 2 of release day at The Rabbit Hole Designs and wedding bells are in the air! We are entering wedding season and The Rabbit Hole Designs has you covered!

The Blooming Anemone (TRH-160) is my showcased stamp for DAY 2! I paired it with the NEW stencil Mesh . The flowers were stamped on Bristol Smooth paper and colored with Arteza waterbased markers. The center of the flowers are very loose french knots that I created and added a little golden bling in the center of each french knot. Here is a close-up of those.
