Clean Simple Elegant Watercolor Card

I needed a simple card to send a note to a friend that has not been feeling good. Here is what I came up with. I hope she likes it and that she feels better in no time!

Supplies: Tim Holtz stamp, Twinkling H2Os, white embossing powder (unknown), paper (unknown).
A close up on the colors. I used a yellow, orange, brown and purple from the Twinkling H2Os.

Challenges: YNS, Just Add Ink #521, Daring Card Makers

Subway art

So I am starting to Marie-Kondo my life, but I am trying to keep my spirit up by finding some subway art that I can maybe take inspiration from.  I have always loved stuff like this, so maybe I can make my own with a big of digital stuff and the help of Costco print shop. LOL!!!  (These were all in Pinterest, but not sure why I saved them in my computer instead of pinning them. {insert roll of eyes}.)

I am addicted to Digital Pins

You see those adorable enamel pins on my digital page?  Yes, they are digital!!!  It all started when a designer from The Lilypad ( named Mommyish created these amazing styles and actions for Photoshop to create enamel pins.

I have been creating tons of them but I think so far these are my favorites!  We are all about donuts and ice cream during Summer time in our house.

On other news, I failed miserably my attempt at creating something artsy every day even if it was only a sketch.  I need to try again, it brings me so much calm and peace to sketch and paint.  I just need to find the time (in other words I need to stay away from my computer LOL!!!)

I am back!

I am back to writing on my blog, I wasn’t keeping up with the other blog so there was no reason to be paying for a site.  Maybe at some point I’ll go back, who knows!

I want to get back to making not only digital pages, but real paper pages and cards and start posting my paintings (or doodles or whatever I do daily)!

Ok, so I am back to the blog life due to painting or I should call it sketching!  I have been sketching but I am too “chicken” to use paints yet.  Color terrifies me!

This is the class I am hoping will change that!
