I really enjoy making freebies, so I of course jumped at the opportunity of doing a Blog Train w/ Valerie’s Team.  We were to use our favorite LO using Valerie O’s kits.  Mine is using Winter Wishes, I adore the color combination of these deep pinkish-purpleish color w/ grey.  I hope you enjoy the template.

Some good news…

hi ladies… I was without words when Valerie O. asked me to be her hybrid artist… of course I accepted (have you seen her kits?)LOL!!!!  Well of course when it rains it pours, my printer is misbehaving.. bugger is acting up and causing me a headache.. so I made a LO instead of a hybrid project but I promise I’ll have something for you really really soon… how about some cookies next time, ok?  And yes, it IS purple… a tone of purple… but I just couldn’t resist how flippin’ awesome it looks against gray… I don’t think I have seen this color combo before and I LOVE IT!!!! yes, I said it I love something w/ purple… LOL!!!  The kit is called Winter Wishes and it is exclusive from Oct 9th – 31st and Sunshine Scraps!

Inspiration Challenge

For Krystal’s 2nd Designiversary her CT is doing an Inspiration Challenge, and I decided to play.  I am using Krystal’s freebit kit “Fresh Baked Fall”.  I took her swirl paper and partially extracted the swirls, then I applied a few blending modes to it and put it on top of the green “solid” paper.  I love how it turned out, it reminds me of my parent’s old refrigerator… LOL!!!!

Now onto some Layouts…. I have been busy this week working on some super duper awesome releases from my sweet Designers!!!!  LUV’ YA, ladies!!!!!

Lets start w/ this one, I must say this might be one of my favorite LOs so far that I have done.  I wish I could recreate it just like this in paper, I am hoping its going to print just as good.  I love everything about this kit!

This is a runner up in terms of favorite… but it is very close to first place in terms of my favorite LOs right now.  It is so peaceful, it really reminds me of Bianca when she was tiny and a very calmed baby.

This LO, is one of those that take a life of its own.  It started w/ a pretty “simple” template w/ the strips.  I wanted to use tons of strips to showcase all the cool papers in this kit. and then I am adding tons and tons of embellishments, that is NOT usually my style… but I guess I am liking it more and more… so soon it WILL be my style… LOL!!!!

ok, there is something GRAND about these leaves in this kit… they look super duper real… I can almost feel like I can pick them up from the screen.  I found this awesome blog (Yin also has a store) w/ tons of really ubber cool template, what is so cool about her templates, well they are made to put TONS and I mean tons of photos and most of them are 2 page spreads!!!!  You got to see her samples and her printed books they are AWESOME!

I started working w/ this kit for a blog wear (which should be done hopefully tomorrow, I just need to test it a bit more) and just fell in love w/ the kit.  It has some awesome patterns and love the shine on the elements, and I immediately thought of Lulu, my sparky dog.

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for this week’s Our Creative Corner’s Challenge blog!  yipppeeee…. This weeks is all about the Stampin’ Ups IN COLORS and guess what?  Danimoy’s cute little “Love Bots” kit colors are really really similar!  I was working on this door hanger last night, so that is the reason is stuck into my fridge.  Did you know that your fridge or your tub are the best places to take pictures at night?  LOL!!!
