It’s Thursday….

I am trying to get back to “nOrMaL”, whatever that is… of course people keep telling me this thing doesn’t go away for weeks, and I am starting to believe them…. It is THURSDAY which means a new sketch at the Fresh Batch at Stamps and Smiles!  I wanted to work on a little thank you box for Lisa Cook, I just need to buy some candy to send it her way!

What do you give your scrappy friend for halloween?  You give them a goodie mini matchbook bag!!!!!  I was thinking of this goodie bag and thought it would be so cute to send some scrappy halloween goodies to my scrappy friends.  I was going to keep them simple but for some reason I just kept piling up the goodness…. so instead of making 10 of them I ended up w/ one… LOL!!!!

SAS Release Day 5

Last day of the release and I have to show you this cute little snow men… and I LOVE SNOW is the last stamp set released and one of my favorites!!!   again I wish I can show you the goodness of his sparkle… there is so much Ranger’s ROCK CANDY on him that he seems to be melting w/ all that reflection.

SAS Release Day 4

sorry for the delay… long story short… I need prayers for my DH’s uncle… please pray hard!… now onto the release!

Here is my sample, I really like how this one turned out… it makes me remember the first time I snuck out of the Island to come and visit my “boyfriend” at the time (DH now) for a R&R in Boston… it snowed… and it was gorgeous, and it was the first time I had seen snow!  And this card represents everything I thought of that day…. happiness, tranquility… HOPE!!!!  I love TRIM A TREE stamp set… I think it might be my favorite of them all… I wish you could see how sparkly the tree is, since it is ALL done w/ layers upon layers of GREEN pearl-ex!

Fall is …

almost here… well I guess is here, if you count yesterday but not today… LOL!!!  To celebrate Fall here is my card welcoming a nice crisp breeze…

It is Fresh Batch Thursday…

and we have some cute cupcakes right off of the oven just for your viewing pleasure at the Fresh Batch @ Stamps and Smiles Blog.

This time I decided to do a different kind of card.  I saw it at Cricut Christmas Blog, and it was so flippin’ easy, I had to try it myself.  This first image is the card closed, and the second image it is how it opens and stays open… I can see some cool little xmas frames/cards in my future!!!!
