One more digi LO created using the super duper adorable kit from Kate @ Urban Mermaid named: Big Wizard of Oz kit.  And it is 20% off this week only!  She also has a cute quick page as a freebie on her site @ Urban Mermaid.

The background paper had one of Dorothy’s red shoes as part of the paper, but it didn’t go with this specific LO, so I places everything on top of the shoe, so how is that for inventive?  I modified the colors of the cute swirly frame, cropped the photo to fit in there and then added tons of embellishments.  The title was fun, it was done using Type Mask w/ the button as the pattern.  Some TExt to Path for the name, place and date and Voila’ it’s done.  ENJOY!

I was honored that Kate from Urban Mermaid asked me to do a few LOs with her adorable Big Wizard of Oz kit.  And it is 20% off this week only!  She also has a cute quick page as a freebie on her site @ Urban Mermaid.

A few things done here.  I cloned the background and removed some of the saturation from the top layer and then “erased” the yellow brick road from that top layer.  Then I increased the saturation on the bottom layer, making the yellow brick road a bit brighter.  The cool framer where the title is placed, is one of the elements in the kit (it looks like a journaling block) I used it as a clipping mask and used one of her light green background papers, which I changed the saturation and hues, to be brighter and have a bit more under tones… oh and I also added a butterfly wings ghost image effect to the awesome frame.  And last but not least I clipped out Bianca out of a picture from our front yard and added some wings to her, doesn’t she looks totally adorable and un-aware of the yellow brick road?

Hi Ladies!  Well, after having to un-install PSE 6.0 for MAC and in the process of re-installing it again thanks to a nice “fix” they sent yesterday I found myself working on my old image software Fireworks CS3.  I love this software, really do love it, if it only allowed me to use PSD templates I would be in heaven.  So, I took my “da’ girls” LO that I really liked and wanted to see how it would look w/ a lot more white space… I did change the swirl from place too, I thought it was more cohesive on the bottom for this version, so here is the original and the new white space oriented LO.  What do you think?  Which one do you like more?
