Whatever you are doing this fine Sunday… Enjoy!
Have you ever had a card, that you just love, but can’t get to make it look awesome in a picture? Well, here is mine. I just love how this card turned out. It is simple and delicate, but it just hits the right spot for me.

I really like how this LO turn out. This is for the Marks Paper Co Challenge and if you are interested 1World Scrap has made a kit w/ all you need for this LO. You will get plenty of leftovers for more pages too. And I have written a step by step instructions on how to make this sweet vintage page. (The kit is not in the store yet, due to the owner being in the hospital. If you could spare a few prayers for her I would really appreciate it)
And yes, that one in the middle sucking her finger it’s ME! Those are my big sister and brother, this is before our lil’ sister came along.

I will come clean and say that I didn’t send not even one Mother’s day card or present. I know bad bad daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, friend… and bad stamper!!!! So I started to put together some cards and little care packages for the “mothers” in my life. I am starting w/ my DH’s grandmother, this card is for her. It is SO NOT my style, but she loves pale colors and flowers. I am also using May 2 Gals Scrappin’ Wisteria kit.
(I am going to outline the flower on the “LOVE” to make it pop!, I just wanted to upload it to “comply” with a few challenges that are due today!)
The magnolia stamp was first painted w/ chalks ( you can see it in the flowers), but then her face was just too pale so I added some prismacolor pencils on top of the chalk. Of course there is some Stickles on her wings too.

I found this paper and thought it was a good idea to cut out all these intricate pieces into petals and just make a cute flower, so here it is.
The pattern paper flower needed a little something, so I added two different ribbons to create the flower center. How did I do? I also added a bit of glitter glue and I did bend and fold the petals to give them a bit more of an organic shape.

This SnS ribbon kit is very down to Earth just like Ann! I tried using it as main element and as just little add ons and it is one wonderful kit for both of those uses.

On this first sample, the ribbon is playing major roll on the page. It is all about twisting and intertwining them, just like love!
Materials: Ribbon by www.savvynsassy.com; paper by Sweetwater; MM eyelets; Mustard Moon alpha stickers; Indie Art Cricut Cartridge

This page needed a frame, something that in a subtle way will bring your eye to the photos and ground all the elements together and what better use than RIBBON!
Materials: Ribbon by www.savvynsassy.com; Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge; Everything Else is the June kit at www.thescrappingedge.net

This card is all about the image, but it needed a little something to transition to the sentiment. And some ribbon enhanced w/ some cute little sequin flowers was just what it needed.
